Why this book?
Daily Habits to Rewild Your Life was created with the intention of empowering individuals to form habits that awaken a wilder existence.
The gravitational pull of the habits we have ingrained throughout our lives is colossal. Whether positive or negative: they mould us.
Daily Habits to Rewild your Life is designed to help overwrite negative habits constraining our wild selves and assists us in forming habits that lead to greater health, freedom and connection with the natural world.
There is a lot of information out there on rewilding and connecting with nature. However there was an empty space for material that showed individuals how to take action daily, consistently, for life.
This book fills that space. It serves as an entry route for those beginning their rewilding journey and a solid base for those that are already underway.
Is rewilding for me?
Rewilding is for everyone. Fortunately and unfortunately you have been blessed and cursed with the genes of your hunter gatherer ancestors.
Blessed in the sense that these genes are strong, durable, and have stood the test of time. Cursed in the sense that modern living does very little to provide your genes with the nutrition they seek.
Unlike any other known species before us we have been able to drastically alter and control our environment. Although this new environment is beneficial for our comfort and convenience, it lacks the complexity we need to thrive.
We are surrounded with the artificial. A mechanized blunder of sounds, a plague of unnatural light sources, and toxic air, to name a select few.
Our minds, bodies, and souls simply have not had enough time (evolutionary speaking) to adapt.
If we wish to truly thrive as a modern human it is essential we mimic some of our hunter gatherer ancestors lifestyle practices, only modified to fit our new environment.
Rewilding assist us overcoming flawed conventional dogma and provides us a time tested strategy for health and happiness. Whether you dive into the rewilding lifestyle or simply paddle your toes in the water it can help you live a more vibrant fulfilling life.
Are habits really that powerful?

What happens during our days determines what will happen during our weeks, months, years, and lives. In this sense nothing is more powerful for rewilding our lives than changing our daily habits.
Habits either have a positive or negative impact on every area of our lives. There is no middle ground. They can be less negative or more positive, but they are never neutral.
This is the light and dark side of habit formation. They either elevate or sink us. If we don’t consciously choose habits that contribute to a wilder life we will continue reinforcing ones that lead to a domesticated life by default.
